Composition
SkinVet Tris-Chlor contains 40 mg of chlorhexidine bigluconate per 1 ml of the product, as well as excipients: purified water, cocamidopropyl betaine, methyl cocoglucamine tartrate, cocoglucoside, glycerin, tromethamine base, tromethamine hydrochloride, disodium edetate and stabilizers.
Indication
The product is administered to dogs and cats as a therapeutic and preventive antiseptic and antibacterial agent for skin conditions caused by bacterial and fungal microflora. It may also be used for skin lesions complicated by bacterial or fungal infection, as well as for the prevention of infection of minor wounds, abrasions, scratches and skin cracks in animals.
Administration
The product is used externally. Wet the animal's coat with warm water, then apply the shampoo and distribute it evenly over the body surface at a rate of 1.0 to 3.0 ml per 1 kg of body weight, rubbing with massaging movements until foam forms. Avoid contact with the eyes, ears and mouth, and prevent ingestion. After 5–10 minutes, rinse the product thoroughly with warm water, then dry and comb the coat. Depending on the severity of the condition, the product is used daily for 3–5 days, then every 3–5 days for 3–4 weeks or as prescribed by a veterinarian.
Contraindications
Contraindication for use is individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the product. The product is not intended for use in food-producing animals.
Special precautions
When using the product, avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If complications occur after use or if the product is used other than as directed, contact a veterinary clinic. In animals with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the product and in case of allergic reactions, discontinue use and, if necessary, provide symptomatic therapy. Chlorhexidine, included in the product, has antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is also active against several fungi.
Shelf life
The shelf life of the product is 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored under the recommended conditions. After opening the bottle, the product should be stored for 6 months. Store in the manufacturer's closed packaging, protected from light, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 °C to 25 °C. Do not use after the expiration date.

Important
