Composition

Each ml of the product contains 100 mg of ceftiofur in the form of ceftiofur hydrochloride, and excipients: colloidal silicon dioxide, sorbitan monooleate and propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate.

Indication

The product is used to treat cattle and pigs for bacterial infections of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital systems, necrobacteriosis and acute endometritis in cattle, as well as other diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to ceftiofur.

Administration

Cattle are given the product subcutaneously or intramuscularly once a day at a dose of 1 ml per 100 kg of body weight: 3–5 days for respiratory tract diseases, 3 days for necrobacteriosis and 5 days for endometritis. Pigs are given the product intramuscularly once a day at a dose of 1 ml per 33.4 kg of body weight for 3 days.

Contraindications

The product is contraindicated in cases of individual hypersensitivity to ceftiofur and other beta-lactam antibiotics. Use with caution in animals with liver or kidney dysfunction.

Special precautions

Shake the vial contents thoroughly before use until a homogeneous suspension is obtained. The maximum injection volume per site must not exceed 15 ml.

Shelf life

Shelf life in unopened packaging — 3 years from the date of manufacture, 28 days after opening the vial. Store in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from +2 °C to +25 °C.
